Let’s Talk: Questions You Might Be Wondering About
I know choosing a rabbi, planning a ceremony, or even exploring Jewish life can come with a lot of questions. Here are some thoughtful answers to common concerns—but please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to talk things through with you.
Answering Your Common Concerns
Do You Perform Interfaith Ceremonies?
Absolutely. Love is sacred, and every relationship deserves to be celebrated with integrity and joy. I work with many interfaith couples and families to craft ceremonies that honor Jewish tradition while embracing each person’s story and background. Together, we’ll create something meaningful, inclusive, and truly yours.
What’s the Process for Bar/bat Mitzvah Training?
It starts with getting to know your child—their interests, strengths, and learning style. From there, we build a personalized plan that makes the experience engaging, accessible, and enriching. I focus on helping students connect with Jewish life in a way that feels real and relevant, culminating in a joyful celebration of their growth and accomplishment.
What if I’m Not Very Religious?
That’s completely okay. Judaism holds space for questioning, exploring, and evolving. Whether you're deeply connected or just beginning to dip a toe in, I meet you where you are—with respect, openness, and without judgment. My goal is to help you find meaning and connection in a way that feels authentic to you.
Virtual/in-person Options?
Yes! I’m happy to work with you in person, when possible, but I also regularly meet with individuals, families, and students virtually. Zoom and other online platforms allow us to connect across distance while keeping the experience warm and personal.
How Far in Advance Should I Book?
It’s always best to reach out as early as you can—especially for weddings, B’nai Mitzvah, or other major life events. But don’t worry if your timeline is tight! If I have availability, I’ll do everything I can to accommodate you and support your vision.
I’m Thinking About Choosing Judaism. Can You Help?
Yes—with deep respect and open arms. Choosing Judaism is a beautiful, courageous journey, and I’m honored to walk alongside you. Whether you’re just beginning to explore or ready to take the next step, we’ll move at your pace. I offer guidance, learning, and heartfelt support in a judgment-free space—always focused on helping you find a meaningful, personal connection to Jewish life and community.
